Lapland Fantasia

Fantasia is the most northerly and least commercialized of our all-inclusive day breaks in Lapland, where we set off by snowmobile through the deserted but stunning snow-clad scenery at the start of our search for Father Christmas.

Fantasia allows for a fantastic array of exciting and exhilarating activities.

We fly to Ivalo airport, from where this magical day takes you deep within the winter landscape to a location more remote than any of our other Lapland destinations.

The all-inclusive price includes the protective warmth of a thermal suit and boots but please remember to bring additional scarves, hat and gloves. Having been transported into the heart of the Lappish wilderness, from here you will be able to take your pick from a wide range of activities.

In addition to the search for Santa, the husky sled ride, the reindeer sleigh ride and the Lappish Ceremony, you will be able to enjoy forest biking, tobogganing, snowmobiling, lasso throwing and snow hockey. Here our search for Santa begins on snowmobile and leads through wooded trails lined with snow-clad pines. This may be the most remote of locations but it is also, undoubtedly, the most atmospheric and in his hectic days before Christmas, Santa often has to visit the far-flung corners of his Lappish kingdom. If we are fortunate enough to find him, the chances are good that he will have time to meet the children in our party and discuss their Christmas letters with.

But this is not all. Our day break also includes a simple but satisfying traditional Lappish lunch and then, as you begin your journey home, you will have an opportunity to visit a small number of souvenir shops at Ivalo airport.
