Ivalo Airport
Ivalo Airport is the northernmost airport in Finland and Lapland’s oldest tourist airport. In 2005, more than 152,000 passengers passed through the Lapinhelmi (Pearl of Lapland) terminal.
The gold fields of Tankavaara, the mountains of Saariselkä, Lake Inari and the world famous salmon rivers beckon travellers to the quiet of the wilderness. It is easy to get to northern Norway or Murmansk from Ivalo.
